Marrakech to Erg Chigaga Desert Tour aims to discover the majesty of the Erg Chegaga Sahara desert with its endless sand dunes we join the most spectacular vast desert of Morocco. You will be taken on a trek off the beaten tracks through less undiscovered places where you can experience a sense of wilderness safaris trips. This vast area of sand dunes makes for a breathtaking landscape, particularly at sunrise or sunset. In the evening we make fire and admire a pure sky full with brightly stars and night out in the open air with moments of real pleasure to discover constellations.

Itinerary
Drive from Marrakech to Dades valley, across the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m high) in the High Atlas Mountains. visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Human heritage site famous for movies making: Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, the kingdom of heaven… lunch near the site in a typical restaurant, then continue towards Ouarzazate & the green Draa valley, the fascinating Agdaz palm. Dinner and overnight in luxury Kasbah hotel.
Duration 5:30 Hours drive, 1-hour walk
We spend the morning driving along the Draa valley, offering a fascinating range of contrasting sceneries, colorful and quaint oases, verdant palm-groves wisely cultivated and fortified mud-red villages. Then enjoy a 2-hours off-road driving to join mobile tented camping in the middle of the dunes Chegaga.

After discovering the majesty of the Sahara desert with its endless sand, we then embark on a wonderful driving day in the direction of the High Atlas Mountains. We cross the dry lake of Iriki and drive on a track until the town of Foum Zguid. Along the way, we will admire stunning landscapes with spectacular colors. Overnight in the guest house at Tizagzaouine village.

Leaving Southern Morocco we take the road back to Marrakesh over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass 2260 meters. While driving on fascinating routes, the scenery is varied and ever-changing. We pass through many villages and towns. Halfway, we stop for lunch in a restaurant at Taddarte village, we then carry on driving through the Atlas mountains. We arrive at Marrakesh and drop you off at your riad or hotel.
